I. Some opposition arises from misunderstanding. (Acts 14:11)

II. Some opposition arises from misapplication. (Acts 14:12-18)

III. Some opposition results in mistreatment. (Acts 1419-20)


Things to remember:

1) You are not God.

2) You bring the gospel/good news.

3) You serve the God of all creation.

4) You must confront wrong belief.

1) The Apostles did not give up.

2) The Apostles did not stop reaching out to the Jews.

3) The Apostles depended upon God for their ministry.


PHILOSOPHICAL OBSERVATIONS

CONCLUSION/APPLICATION:

In living your Christian-life...

1) Don't give up.

2) Be careful to whom you listen/follow.

3) Learn to depend upon the power of God.
